Here's What Team Dhadak Says About Janhvi Kapoor's Return To Work
Sridevi's elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, is back to taking orders of 'Light, Camera, Action' as we speak to the team of her upcoming film, Dhadak
It's never easy to get back to your work or any routine
activity if you lose your loved one. Janhvi Kapoor lost her best friend and
mentor on Feb 24, when her mother Sridevi passed away in a Dubai hotel.
Justifiably, her return to work on the sets of Shashank
Khaitan's Sairat remake, Dhadak, grabbed headlines on Thursday.
“Janhvi and Ishaan
(Khatter, the male lead in Dhadak) will be shooting in Bandra for the next
couple of days where they will film some romantic scenes. In the coming week,
the duo will head to Kolkata to begin work on the story post-interval, when the
lovers elope. They have completed the shoot of the first half which kicked off
last December and was shot across Rajasthan and on a set in Mumbai where parts
of the state were recreated,” a source had then revealed to Mumbai Mirror.
Janhvi Kapoor Resumes Shooting For Dhadak
Last night, SpotboyE.com spoke to a few members from Team
Dhadak and learnt that Sridevi's elder daughter was "professional, brave
and amazing". These were the three words used to describe Janhvi's
resumption.

A source said, "It was not easy for Janhvi to even
think that she would start facing the camera, memorise the lines and give apt
shots so soon after her mother's death. Full marks to her for giving justice to
her assignment so that the producer (Karan Johar) is not hard-pressed."
Knowing Karan, we are sure that he must have offered her
the option of postponing the shoot. Adds the source, "We all were
surprised when Janhvi volunteered to shoot. She has been through the darkest
days of her life and deserves nothing but praise and applause for believing the
age-old saying in the industry: The show must go on.
